OverviewThe Council’s CSID Cluster extends beyond radio frequency identification to include issues related to control and sensor technologies. The Cluster examines business applications, technologies, standards and policies that foster the growth and development of the controls, sensors and RFID (CSID) community in the region. The CSID Advisory Board meets on a regular basis and is open to member executives with direct experience/expertise in the CSID field. Each year, the group organizes a couple public breakfast briefings and a half dozen private member-only meetings where industry experts can build relationships and discuss the latest trends. These programs and meetings provide valuable insight into the minds of technology buyers and vendors at the region’s leading organizations.
